Refund & Return Policy

Returns & Exchange:

We have a 5-day return and exchange policy, which means you have 5 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Products bought during sale are not accepted for returns or exchanges unless there is a wrong product delivered or lost during transit. If such a circumstance occurs, the customer will be sent a replacement of the correct order

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

As you know, all products from हस्तArts™ are handmade, artistic products and preserving nature’s beauty intact. We put immense time and effort in collecting and choosing the materials used for creating our treasures.

However, you are free to return or exchange the product (bought during non-sale period) within 5 days since the date of delivery by sending an email to

Please mention the following details in the email: order number, product title, date of purchase, and reason for return/exchange, attach receipt or proof of purchase.. Also mention the product you would like to be replaced in case of exchange. It will be helpful if you can also attach a picture of the product

If your return/ exchange is approved then we will arrange for a pickup from your doorstep and also arrange for the exchange delivery.

The to and fro delivery charges for Returns and exchanges will be borne by हस्तArts only under the following circumstances:

  • Wrong product was dispatched

  • Product damaged during transit

  • Product delivery did not occur 

  • Different variant of product dispatched from the warehouse

Please note that, the shipping charges for returns or exchanges for any reason other than the above mentioned will be charged to the customer


  • Gift cards are exempt from being returned.

  • All returned products must be in unused condition with original packaging intact.

  • Refund will be processed in case of approved returns only after the product is received back in the warehouse and a quality check is done. The amount will be credited back to your original source within 5-7 days

  • Items purchased during sale on discount will not be eligible for returns or exchanges unless the product is damaged in transit or if wrong product is sent. 

No refunds will be given in the following cases:

  • Products returned after 5 days post order date.

  • Products returned in a used or damaged condition.

* हस्तArts is not responsible for damage of goods during transit when the customer ships it back themselves.

Returns of product damaged during transit:

If you receive a product that is damaged during transit then returns and replacements are accepted only if the request is raised to the email within 1 day or 24 hrs from the time of shipment delivery.

Once approved, a pickup will be arranged for the product and a replacement of the same product will be arranged.

Refunds (if applicable):
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable):
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take some time before your refund is reflects in your statement

Sale items:
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

We suggest you use a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as most our products range over 800 Rs. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
